As one of Bangkok's most talked about art venues, WARP54 has never failed to garner respect and praise. Now at its new revamped venue, WARP54 continues to move on with the tradition as a staple on the Asian art scene.
The studio is the working space of Christian Develter, an internationally-recognized artist whose color-saturated canvases hang on walls from Bangkok to New York to London.
WARP 54 (named after the Star Trek technology and legendary Studio 54 nightclub) was created to provide a place for Develter to work without boundaries or restrictions, many of his pieces are over-sized.
Develter’s work is mostly oil on canvas, and he usually uses opposite colors right next to each other to increase the apparent brightness.
The effortless blend of glass, steel and colour never fails to create a visual delight, the seamless flow and positivity resonate from the walls and the subdued playful elegance is what makes the venue in Bangkok, one of the most remarkable creative spaces.
WARP 54 Studio is not simply a private space to create but has hosted events and gatherings on occasion that have been attended by the Bangkok elite.
We welcome you to explore the many press mentions, WARP54 has had and look forward to seeing you as a special guest at any one of the events or private viewing in the near future.
