There is nothing typical about this Studio, an old teakwood  warehouse  with a deep sense of history just  behind the majestic Portuguese mission on the shores of the Chao Phraya river in Bangkok constructed by Japanese troops in WWII. It is immaculate, blending many materials seamlessly and highlighting the vibrancy of Christian Develter's highly acclaimed and beautiful artworks. The sense of space and the eye catching colours of the large and fascinating creations that line the walls make for nothing less that a mesmerising journey into the possibilities of what a good space, a great talent and an abundance of tubes of oil paint can achieve.

Christian Develter was born in 1968 in Blankenberge, West Flanders , Belgium but resides and works in Asia since the nineties.
“Develter’s  sense of the beautiful and the individual strength and spirit of his  protagonists with his close-up narrative is developed through careful  consideration of line, lighting and geometry as well as his  perspicacious awareness of the power of color to reveal that which is  behind the surface of each character. At the heart of these works is a  search not just for physical beauty but also for something of the spirit  that embraces and motivates each one in our era of hyper celebrity.”

Raffles International College Bangkok , Fashion School Graduation Photo Shoot: "Every year since its creation Raffles International College gives the opportunity to it students to showcase their work in a grand way! In addition to a full fledged graduation event complete with exhibition and fashion show the school puts together a photoshoot to feature their third year students' fashion collections. The location for this year's photoshoot was Studio Warp 54! The creative team of Raffles loved the industrial look of the warehouse and the contrast of vibrant colors provided by Chris' paintings. A total of 10 different outfits were selected to be photographed"
